GOOSE Galvanized Outboard Safety Engine Lanyard

Emergency Engine Stop lanyard for all outboard motors and personal watercraft.

This is a replacement lanyard for your vessel, and it’s made out of high quality Galvanized Coated Steel to give you peace of mind that it will perform and not break due to heat and outside elements.

This essential lanyard clips onto your life jacket and will stop the engine in the event of you falling overboard, thus preventing the vessel from moving forward.

Specification: Material: Galvanized Steel 7x7 cable with a 480lb break strength: Wrapped in a vinyl coating which will last a lifetime.

Cable Length: 108” when fully uncoiled. 72”-105” when key is pulled.

Package Included: 1 Yellow Safety Lanyard with (2) 1” rings on each end and with one end having installed a 3” - D-shaped easy to use Buckle in Red for your life Jacket.

Step 1. Remove your existing Safety Lanyard from your kill switch button. 

Step 2. Detach the key for the kill switch on your existing lanyard and install it on new lanyard with the end that has the 1” ring.

Step 3. Install the key back on to your kill switch.

Step 4. Open the D-ring clip and install it on your life jacket as shown to the right. You’re now safe and secure and ready to use your vessel.
